I write all web content, including updates from field reporters, press releases, police reports, health department data and community stories. 

I work with producers to keep tabs on what's happening by answering phones, checking social media and scoping other outlets. This ensures web and TV services have the most up-to-date, important information.

After articles are posted on our site, it's my job to ensure they're posted to social media with an attention-grabbing caption. 

WWBT is owned by Gray Television and utilizes Arc Publishing. I am proficient in the program's composer, video center and photo center. 

As a journalist, my goal is to make information easy to consume. Using Adobe Photoshop and Canva.com, I can visualize pieces of information and encourage viewers to keep reading.

We want our viewers to know it first. I utilize push alerts to keep our audience in the know before and after the 6 p.m. newscast. It's not always important to be first, but it's pertinent information is accurate and complete before being released.
